Super 3D Portals 6 is a bootleg demake of Portal for the Atari 2600! Unlike some demakes, this is actually programmed for play on a real Atari 2600 or emulator, making it completely accurate to the system specs. FEATURES: -two portal gameplay -aiming feature -jumping/platforming -intentional glitches -2D CONTROLS: Super 3D Portals 6 uses a unique two-joystick control scheme to be more faithful to the original portal while still conserving the Atari's limitations. Joystick 1 Left/Right: Move Left/Right Joystick 1 Up: Jump Joystick 2 Left/Right: Aim Counterclockwise/Clockwise Joystick 1/2 Fire: Fire Red/Blue Portals SCREENSHOTS: CHANGELOG: revision 27: initial public release revision 28: 4 new levels added revision 29: 2 new levels added, name change revision 30: title screen music changed, some bugs fixed final revision: major bug squashed, filling cartridge to near limit DOWNLOAD (final revision - binary, basic source, assembler source included): http://webspace.hinchy.us/super3dportals6_final.zipYou'll need an emulator to play it. I recommend Stella. POSTED ON KOTAKU! - http://kotaku.com/5048537/portal-ported-to-the-atari-2600

But it was done before the compo wasn't it only a tiny bit. title screen, warping, and movement (x or y) were not implemented until this morning.

He didn't know you weren't allowed to start pre-compo, but I told him yesterday yeah. i'm a bit embarrassed about that. forgive me (and please don't disqualify me) please? i mean it's not like there's a prize at stake or anything. and like i said in my last post, most of it was done this morning anyway.

Cool! But it would still be awesome if you took your time to port the game to PC and Mac so we don't have to emulate. That really keeps me from trying it. It's a cool idea, of course... BaronCid

It would make no sense to port it to flash. Find a 2600 emulator written in Java or something.

You need to find a picture of a Commodore 64 or NES cartridge, and then photoshop some goofy box art for your own game onto it. In fact, I think it should be required of all entries.
