If we got more tools for other art threads like this, I'll definitely sticky it!

Thanks again, mate. Absolutely wonderful idea.

This is great! Does it update real time too?
Nope, it keeps a 24 hour cache. So it won't overload the server to much, asking for the whole topic creates quite a load (and takes a while)

I understand the requests for topic link/author. I just tried to add that, but because of some the changes the performance is really bad on my test version. So I'll have to rethink my strategy there.

Are you rebuilding the whole thing every 24 hours, or just adding any additional posts ...

Also, in 8001-8500 I found this disturbing gif..

That's fucking amazing.
I'm getting more inspiration/motivation despite already looking through the entire thread once.

Awesome! I won't sticky the thread, but I'll edit the first post of the original pixel art thread to include a link here.

Hopefully it updates the whole topic. I just removed a bunch of links to a images hosted on a site that's being flagged by Chrome and Firefox.

Love it! Making each image a link to the relevant page in the thread would make it more useful as a tool, but right now it's great for quick viewing.

It rebuilds the whole topic from scratch every 24 hours.
Also, if some offending domain names are causing problems, just list them and I'll filter those out. Should be easy.

How it works, it gets the printable version of the topic, which is a huge 9mb HTML file containing all the posts, then it searches for all images in that HTML file and lists those in reverse order.

I'm working on an updated version Wink

Tasks for updated version: Filter out images inside of quotes, add links to post in which images were shown.

I'm already filtering out duplicates, which should solve the quoting problem (that's easier then filtering quotes)

But, a bit of hacking/cleanup and testing later, we have an updated version:
http://daid2.mine.nu/~daid/tigsource_pics/

Which has:
All that in only 136 lines of code Smiley
