Controls
up/down/left/right - movement
shift/space -  action buttons in various games
z - pause/inventory screen in Lady Million
r - reset game

Hmm.  A demade populous might be fun.  Say with blocky one-pixel characters, and not too much of a pain to implement.

Or maybe not.  Hmmm.

it would be possible to do one with megaman-style disappearing/reappearing platforms aaand...hmm can think of how ro do bosses now as well...ok. 


ok....I'm going to do it guys!  (it fits the criteria of being easy to prototype and mildly amusing).

(especially as it's seeming the megaman-style game is going to be a little bit deeper than I initially had planned).

I am so confused as to what that last picture was. It looks like a connect the dots involving magical flipping horses. Or Something along those lines. I love the graphics for the platformer though, very simple.

I think pretty much all platformers feature at least one disappearing platform. If you want a really cheesy, un-indie game, how about Ratchet and Clank?

Have game display working, jumping working, appearing/disappearing blocks working, nasty spikes working.  Some odd code bugs though (yes, even already, with the collision-detection!)

To do (in this order):
firing bullets
implement sound effects
helmet dudes
health bar
new game title Wink
transition to boss-screen (the barrier, screen-scroll, &c)
bosses
have some music done by now
pause screen
pause screen w/ weapon select
rehash the boss selection screen
title screen for 1d megaman game
then other 3-in-one stuff if I have time:
     game select screen
     very buggy/quickly executed biocosm ripoff
     game 3, also quickly executed
