We are hosting a location for Global Game Jam 12 (January 27th -29th) in Budapest Hungary this year!  We have at least 10 people coming already and can always welcome more!  For those interested please contact [email protected] to RSVP for the event.

Please include:  Name, relation to games (doesn't matter what, we welcome EVERYONE), what you hope to help with at the event (i.e. artwork, programming, sound, music, etc.), and any other information you think would help.  We will get back to you with more information.

The event will be hosted at the Nemesys Games office near Jászari Mári Tér (for those familiar with the city).

For those unfamiliar with the event you can find more information here:

Well there wasn't much response to this post, but we did have some strangers show up for the event.  It was a great time to get to know them and work with them.

We had to find a common ground on the coding process so we went with Unity, and it was everyone's first time firing up that engine.

This is the final result:  http://release.nemesys.hu/blocky/

Let us know what you think!

Cool game, Unity is a pretty easy and straightforward dev environment to use Smiley
