I finally had time to work on the game again & started with some lighting tests for a new place.
The house in "Darkness" does not have much lighting, but I want to have nice light sources & shadows here.
Took a while to get it all to work.
Now that I have an idea of how things are going to work here, I can start modeling the place and the contents.

An old-school point'n'click adventure in the spirit of the classic LucasArts and Sierra games, the protagonist can use many natural and implanted organs to interact with the world (hand, mouth, bioport, etc). Little Lives is a life-sim game - somewhere between the classic Jones in the Fast Lane, the Sims, and old-school top-down GTA. You drive around a city, managing your time between work, friends and various disasters that befall your character. As you progress, you move up the career ladder, acquire items to make you happy - such as faster cars and better apartments - and try to maintain relationships with the NPCs in the world.
