First try at contact-hardening soft shadows
With a lot of help from http://maxest.gct-game.net/content/chss.pdf, a glance at AMD ShadowFX, and https://developer.download.nvidia.com/shaderlibrary/docs/shadow_PCSS.pdf
And thanks to GLSL for allowing only a single override to texture() for sampler2DShadow, making the HLSL->GLSL conversion complicated for no valid reason. (I'll have to integrate the HLSL version at some point too)

Looks good! You're still doing Percentage Closer Filtering? Or is this some fancy Moments Shadow Mapping where a math wizzard can somehow extract the distance to the occluder from the moments?

No, it's the most straightforward implementation of Percentage Closer Filtering, I didn't even apply the whole paper I linked yet: I still need to draw the penumbra in a separate pass and blur it (which will make it faster and mitigate the annoying noise, which looks even worse in motion). A separate issue I must take care of is that huge, fixed bias.

Wendigo Progress - Supernatural Survival Game - The Wrath of Whispers

I recently found myself annoyed not having progress to show on any supernatural elements of our game, so for the last couple weeks I’ve been designing a wendigo that’ll now be added to the third demo we have planned to release Q1 of next year. I'm spending a few more days on it to make sure it's game ready for when I can come back to it's AI and animation after the second demo launches.
