Meet our Phoenix!This mythical fire bird will fly over obstacles and hover over the game board. Its death trigger is every time it's killed, his card goes back into your hand to be cast again, just like it is rising from the ashes. It is also immune to being frozen. The mix of different sprite resolutions atop photo-real environment is disturbing at first, but I can see it potentially working. What are your plans with those? There's a sharp vertical contrast separation right where the attacking character poses idle. It's most visible when his cape crosses it.
No solid plans yet. I actually put the vertical shadow there on purpose to test the cast shadow of a big block on the side.

Dat feel when you design a combat system that generates unplanned combos, like doing the right input for a twirl plus the right attack direction yields a faster attack and so a stronger hit! This actually works. And I never intended it to.

Which would you choose to play and why?Celestial Steampunk Timekeeper RatsThis Celestial faction turns the "dirty rats" game trope on its head. Now, meet our civilized and top-hatted faction that specialize in time spells! The Withered'sThis Void faction consists of dried-out husks of once thriving individuals that have been afflicted by blight. While the Withered's are technically alive, their physical form and spiritual energy has been depleted to the point of exhaustion, resulting in their wrinkled appearance. They are virtually blind and are driven to their targets by an innate hunger that can detect positive energy to absorb and sustain their being. The VampiresJoining the Withered's as a Void race, these blue-skinned undead are blood-thirsty, angry, and equipped with ancient bejeweled swords. They are fated to roam the Summoners Fate world and seek to add to their team with yours... The SatyrsNew! These humanoid beasts - the Satyrs - will be a Neutral faction (we will go into more detail soon about this faction). Here we have, from left to right, our Warrior Satyr, our Archer Satyr, and our Champion Satyr. Our goat creatures are our take on the ancient Greek and Roman mythologies surrounding these wildlings.

That's really neat! Emergent elements like that can potentially be a boon to a game, I feel. ^_^
