Hey all!

Today I start the development on my first (serious) ipad game release. It's going to be a hexagon turn-based strategy game.
My goal is to keep it simple and let the dynamic gameboard make up the challenge.

The design is not yet set in stone but I have a basic concept in my head. The board will consist of different terraintypes, and you need to take control over these tiles to grow your kingdom. The villages you build on those will provide peasants that you can place at farms/mills/forests/whatever to generate resources for you. Peasants can also be converted to soldiers and placed to defend tiles or attack the opponent.

I don't have an artist yet, so if you are interested in making some graphics for it, just give me a shout!

The hexagonal board is in place. By tapping on a tile you can see some stats and also build a couple of structures on it. Now its a woodcutters house and a small settlement. Those now generate resources every round.

Support for different tiletypes. Those will be used for defense and resources.
Houses now produce people which can be moved around on tiles.

  • Different buildingoptions depending on the tiletype
  • Capped amount of workers on tiles for balancing purposes
  • Onetile movement for workers
