Apparently, Jeff "from the overwatch team" Kaplan plays Overwatch, and he even plays competitive with a rank of about 2700.

fun games don't interest me, i'd rather make not fun games than fun games; if a game is fun it's only by accident, and undesirable. my ideal game is something like this:

Yeah, I do. I specifically ask my teammates (programming and  art) to build levels with new puzzles and I play them for fun. If it washes off the stress, then it's a good level. But in order to be able to play, I need to step back from the game for a day or two. Fortunately (or unfortunately Tongue )level design takes more time than playing, so I can do this once in a while, without neglecting my work.

The best part is when I play a new level with all of them watching. It goes something like that:

I create video games and obviously play them a lot
Mostly when i develop to know if what i'm doing is right or not
