Necromancy!

Overall, I love how GK turned out, but I have one problem with him:

We've got all these beautiful Bonesaw graphics, but Bonesaw mode tends to be too rare an short. Also, it distorts the playing field, giving a huge advantage to the more skilled player.

I propose these changes:
Landing Bonesaw attacks won't charge your Bonesaw meter, but Bonesaw mode lasts longer. This was originally my idea, but I don't think it works very well, so I apologize. The effect is obscure, and it worsens the Bonesaw's tendency to favor the stronger player.

Secondly, I propose that Bonesaw mode take longer to charge, but that the charge can be held between lives. Bonesaw mode should be powerful, special and rare- not something you enter once each life, when you have little health remaining.

Thoughts?

I think a half solution 1 would work.
Have it last longer, but make you receive half as much charge as you would normally. This way it still favors the stronger player, just not as much.

Charging slowly and carrying the charge between lives would give an advantage to GK in matches that take longer or have more stock lives while making it useless in one-minute matches or single life/sudden death matches.

I thought of that, too. It would put GK at a disadvantage in really short battles (although he's strong enough normally that he can certainly hold his own). I don't think too many people typically play battles with only one or two lives, though.

I think a half solution 1 would work.

The real problem is that the effect is confusing, not that it's overpowering. Halving the effect would just make it more confusing.

I don't understand this bit. Which version are you saying doesn't work very well?
