You're going for a 2:1 pixel ratio? I thought the first screenshots were 1:1?

oh yes sorry. the game will be 2:1. that screenshot looks like 3x or 4x or something sorry, just messy screengrabs. i post 1:1 gifs just because its easier, i'm not using the best tools for this game ha. we've figured 2:1 looks and plays best on the 480x320 iphone screen.

which also reminded me that that screenshot will be the active game area. the stage will be a bigger map with a slidable camera

and a timer

Looks lovely, although in the screenshot above the perspective of the buildings in the center seems off.

yeahhhhh. its sort of a forced stylized view, since i wanted a backdrop. seeing it with paralax helps a little, like to see what u think when a build is ready

another thing i had to remember designing and composing the stage is that you will never see it in its entirety like in the screenshot, only part of it at a time on screen (similar to a pan with forced perspective in animation)

thanks for feedback! all is welcome

Mildred
Removed the other names to be fair- this is my name vote.

I calls 'em as I see 'em.

By the way awesome characters, I enjoy the colour scheme you've got going.
I don't need to say much about the animations they do all the talking themselves.  Gentleman

Edit:
Bah the  orange Bird with a bag is a girl...  Facepalm okay name her Betty.
Don't take me too serious, the names are totally up to you, I'm only really pushing for Mildred for some reason.

Sit down and relax,
Keeping focus on your breath,
This may take a while.
