It's a demake of Wolfenstein 3D, NES style with SD graphics. I just started yesterday, so all I've got is this mockup: WIP, some of that stuff looks shitty and should improve for the final version. More info soonish. Word.

This game looks like it could be so much fun with a simple online mode :D
Also, the little pixelized pics of Hitler on the wall are genius.

Actually, the Wolfenstein series dates back to before the NES: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_WolfensteinI don't know how you could De-make an Apple II game.. Stand-alone Pong Wolfenstein? Anyway, looks awesome! Keep up the good work!

I think you should just call it "Wolfenstein 2D". I know you're not allowed to reuse anything from the original, but that would be too amusing.

Anyway, looks awesome! Keep up the good work! Heheh I'm demaking Wolfenstein 3D not Castle Wolfenstein which was an inspiration to create Wolfenstein 3D but not quite the same. If you read Masters of Doom (pretty good book, BTW) you already know the details. Good to see someone else knows about the Apple II game. I'll try to stick to most NES limitations: Resolution, on-screen colors, number of colors per tile/sprite, etc. I'm even using the NES color palette on this. Since the Wolfenstein 3D .exe file was called wolf3d I thought the closest thing would be to name the game wolfsd, and it makes some sense too. It could be called Wolf2D but seems people use to call "Wolfenstein 2D" to the Amiga II Castle Wolfenstein game Moon Goon was talking about, so to avoid confusion I'll stick to wolfSD by now.

Sorry, I thought SD was somewhat popular. It means Super Deformed. It's a style were all characters are comical, small, chubby, big headed, etc. But it's especially applied when you take an existing 'serious' character and make it look that way on purpose. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_deformed

I'm slow with names.

So are you going to use the original maps. Not only would that be more bootleg (and possible, by the way) but it would rock.
