Hi Community Smiley

This is my first XNA framework game. It's currently in its Alpha but please support me by checking it out Smiley

Specs so far include:
-self designed Animation Engine
-randomly generated terrain
-animated character
-character customization(IN 0.8 UPDATE)
-menu system
-breakable environment
-in-game map regenerator
-Trees, Forests, Rocks and Catcus's
-scrolling camera
-grass,dirt,water,sand
-player inventory
-resource collection
-crafting (so far only planks)
-drag and drop inventory
-skills! Gathering, Lumbering and Crafting! thats right!!
-Goblins, Death, Potions and Skills
-Message Log
-*NEW* Swords
-*NEW* Day/Night System



Plans:
- harvest basic resources, build, farm,craft,sell,collect and more!
- character RPG elements
- customisable gameplay and AI.

You need to change the color of either the grass or the trees.  They are too close and I couldn't even see the trees at first glance.

Interesting, I've also been working on a very similiar style game, also in XNA, and it's also my first game using XNA.
I will make a topic in a couple of weeks aswell, when I feel that I have something worthy to show haha.

I will be keeping an eye on your game, will be interesting to see the different design decisions we will be making Smiley

MyWorld 0.7

   New sound effects for cutting trees, drinking potions, enemies dying, getting hurt, leveling up or picking up items
   Enemies will now attack you
   You can now attack enemies
   Player can now DIE!!!
   Enemies now collide with each other and player
   New mouth texture for when getting hurt
   Chance for enemies to drop potions
   Enemies die and respawn
   New Strength skill (incereases by getting kills) that helps you kill enemies faster
   Drinking potions increases Gathering skill and drinking speed is effected by such
   Fixed title position
   Over time enemies will level up. As an enemy levels up it becomes stronger.
   Player health is based on Total Skill Level.
   Potions increase health based on gathering skill
   New Message Log that informs of events
   Fixed player spawning (again)
   Total enemies on map is equal to total skill level.
   Player and Enemies regenerate health, for player this is based on total skill level.

MyWorld 0.8

   Player can now equip Sword
   Enemies now drop swords
   New Day/Night system, including afternoon transaltion a day lasts 2 minutes
   fixed goblin spawning bug.
   Sword increases attack damage.
   Fixed heaps of other bugs including item selection, picking up.
   Player swings sword.
   At night more enemies spawn
