Putting on my Holmes cap... - Hello! We've had a number of pings about Amazon appearing to have an Oct release date for Rain World. Just want to say that's *not* correct! We will have some news about the *real* release date very soon though, so stay tuned! :3 - Working on big secret deadlines and will be present at E3 - Content complete and in beta testing, as of PAX East in April Thus I surmise that Rain World will get its official release date announced at E3, and will probably release sometime this summer |

Biggest piece of info in that interview IMO: 30 to 40 species in the game's bestiary
Off the top of my head, I can think of around 25:
Slugcat, slugcat pups, lizards (purple, green, blue, yellow, orange, red, white), vultures, leeches, scavengers, leviathans, "big birds", jetfrogs, jellyfish, watchers, garbage worms, grapple hook worms, killer grass, lantern mice, deers, bats, cicadas, daddy long legs
