And its fun to use the knowledge you have of the areas and creatures to figure out where a certain creature token might be.

I’ve seen this! Looks very cool. Very ‘mushroom 11’ movement though, right?

*googles* This looks very cool too Although on first glance it bothers me a bit how the destruction/growth looks all squishy, but the organism itself is rigid...

Why are there so few of those new little ink squids in the game? And why is it I always find them dried out on land, Ive never once found them swimming around, not even in shoreline. They also dont seem like they ever use their own ink for defense, only when you throw them, which seems a little silly.

I didn't really know of anywhere else I could say this, so I'll just post it here. After unlocking everything in the sandbox roster (on the v1.5 beta), I noticed some things were missing. Most notably: - Garbage Worms
- Popcorn Plants
- Pearls
- Guardians
- Neurons (or anything else from inside 5p)
- Moon and Pebbles
- Overseers
- Worm Grass...? (It's in one of the arenas already, but placing patches of it could be neat)
- Baby Daddy Longlegs
- Noodlefly Eggs
I get that some of them couldn't really be placed down in the arenas, like the popcorn plant, but they'd still be nice to have, even if it's just placeable on shelters. And on the topic of arenas, are there plans to add more in the future, like entirely underwater arenas, or zero-g arenas? Anyway, aside from those minor complaints, I think the new creatures in the Hunter mode are really neat! The Noodleflies especially! It's just a shame we only get 20 cycles to enjoy them. Okay, passive-aggressiveness aside, I really enjoy the update. I already had wayyy to many hours on this game, and now I can't put it down. Looking forward to co-op (and maybe even online multiplayer in the far-future?)!

I have a question about something. I thought I'd try to go from The Wall to Five Pebbles, but once I got there I realized there's a wall the developers didn't want me to climb, and I'd have to go all the way back up with a squidcada to jump it.
On the other hand, I could swear I recently saw someone who figured out a way, maybe enabled by the 1.5 update, to throw spears down and create a short pole. I might be able to make it with that, without having to go all the way from Sky Islands up The Wall while keeping the squidcada with me and alive. I can't remember which page or guide I saw it, though...I think it might involved backflipping in a certain way. Does anyone know about how to throw spears down?

!!! SPOILERS FOLLOW !!! @linger there are a couple of ways to go from The Wall to 5P : 1 - get a grapple worm ( you can come from the underhang - then go left ) , then use the grapple worm's elastic tongue to propel yourself upwards. video : 2 - get a squidcada and come all the way from SI. Once you get to the respective screen, a) Just use the squidcada and wall side-jump b) Use a backflip and shoot a spear in mid-air. That allows you to climb. video : https://youtu.be/EuJYnf87j28?t=1650Theoretically, you could do it only with spears, but it's going to take a considerable amount of spears, so you might have to kill a tribe of scavengers and stack up - and it still sounds somewhat undoable. Just be sure not to use the red ones for climbing

Any chance of you making sandbox mode have the option for persistence? As in, creatures who die stay dead/are replaced through the lineage system, and the ones who live make it to the next day?

Hey! New on the forums and was wondering if a full co-operative campaign is still coming to Rain World? Would be awesome to play the full story on the couch with friends!

So I finally got back to playing Rain World after the 1.5 update went live, and...well, I'm having a fantastic time. I'm even playing on normal difficulty. I'm not certain how many changes you made to the normal mode beyond the first update, if any at all. Maybe it's some subtle tweaks you guys made, maybe it's that I'm playing it "properly" and not breaking sequence, or maybe I just needed some distance from my disastrous first run; whatever the case, the game just feels...not friendlier, simply less utterly inhospitable. Aside from a few rough patches (usually involving getting stuck in a particularly brutal bit of level design and not realizing I could go around another way, resolved by a quick google search) it's been a much smoother experience. The difficulty feels more finely tuned. There are still moments of cycle-of-life unfairness (as it should be), but rarely infuriating, never "stuck" feeling. I'm nearing completion, and looking forward to trying a different sequence, or perhaps relaxing into a Monk playthrough.
It's good! It's really, really good. I hope that more people come back to it.

Hello! I've been a lurker since I found out about this game, so March 2017. I wasn't able to comment because Tigsource didn't accept Gmail accounts to sign up. Though that is mysteriously gone.
I've been checking this devlog daily and it has been 183 since the last post. Now it's 0 days because this exists. You might know me as Enderzilla747. I look forward to any future devlogs.

I have spent too much time on the internet, because I'm genuinely not sure if you are a real person or whether this is a bot message
