Silly question: what does one have to do to get xbox controller support? Is it going to be the same as normal gamepad support (like one might do with SDL), or could one even cheat and assume some sor of keyboard remapping, or?

Hey phil .
Good job with the logo for gamma3 . When is the polytron site coming up ?
I d really like to collaborate with you at one point . I organise this chiptune event every 3 months called Toy Company, could be interesting to combine with a game creation brainstorm workshop or something.

other specification, we are looking at red and CYAN here. also the norm. it seems cyan is marginally better than blue.
Yeah; cyan is completely opposite to red in the spectrum, and also lighter than blue, so it allows for higher contrast. you don't have to use wireframe rendering I know, but I was trying to think of situations where stereoscopy could dramatically increase comprehension of objects that might seem very messy otherwise.
I can certainly imagine something like Lost in the Static, but for stereoscopy.

I started doing some tests. and it gets really heavy to render from 2 cams and layer them on top of eachothers, what would be a lightweight solution to that ? google s been really lame at awnsering me tonight . . .

For the very first time for your viewing pleasure, the Kama Sutra is presented in 3D (glasses provided with the DVD) for a completely special, very close experience. There are so many things that are wrong with this, not the least of which being the most 3D thing they could put on the camera isn't the woman's. Somehow the idea of dodging a money shot doesn't appeal. I started doing some tests. and it gets really heavy to render from 2 cams and layer them on top of eachothers, what would be a lightweight solution to that ?
2D.

Maybe lower the resolution, use offscreen rendering using RenderTarget (XNA) or framebuffer objects (OpenGL), and blend them using a pixel shader.

I think the most lightweight solution (with OpenGL at least) is to use glColorMask to only render the red channel, then move the camera or do whatever it is you're doing and then use glColorMask to render only green/blue. That's probably not really customizable for different projector color schemes, but at least for prototyping it should work.

Which means the left eye needs to be rendered in cyan, since the red color will filter out the right eye, which needs to be rendered in red.

My specs just came in... ...the GAMMA logo isn't actually 3D. That's somewhat of a letdown. These tomatoes are though.

So am I right in thinking that the industry standard right lens (cyan) actually looks more like green than blue? Or do I just have a crazy renegade pair of specs? They seem to be parsing watching working on those tomatoes just fine.
