Yeah I think a couple of seconds of video with very atmospheric sounds and showing the lack of HUD and the blinking in-game would make a world of difference.
that and something scary off course.
and deep breathing sounds.
edit: and probably a more realistic pledge goal; they ask for 20.000, but the same page tells me 20.000 will be needed for software/licences. That's not only unlikely (what license cost 20.000 ? I am guessing they are using Unity pro plus team licence -> 2000 $) and some bucks will be needed for the PS4 license too (400$ i've read) but that aint 20.000.
so It's unlikely and sloppy too imo, and why would one need 50.000 to incorporate the occulus rift ? the dev version only cost 300$ and it just plugs in into Unity.
At the same time I am guessing a 10 member team cannot live of air alone, why not have a more honest approach in what they need the money for ?
anyway, I would like to see a very scary horror game on a Rift, so in essence it is an interesting idea, just some/alot of kickstarter presentation problems.

Yeah, that would be great. If this Kickstarter fails I might tell him to try one more time, but only after they got a demo/prototype ready. I can't reveal too many things, as I'm not sure I'm permitted to, but it is a legitimate game  |

I am not implying its a scam/ not legitimate, just noting some problems with the kickstarter/timing. which is a shame because it could become a very big thing/nice game when approached different. |
