Can anyone point out, EXACTLY what's missing from Naija, and i'll finish that ASAP...afterwards we can focus on Quote, and so on.
I believe just the sprites and animations for the plant and projectiles. Also, separate sprites for beast-charging upwards or downwards would be nice.

Oracle, I'll handle the rest of the Naija stuff (if you haven't already done 'em). You got a great start on Quote already, so I think you should focus on that! Btw, yes your walk is a vast improvement!

I haven't played that far in Cave Story (got stuck, took a break, hard drive broke, lost save, couldn't be arsed to do it again, etc.) and I know that Quote's Quote. It's fairly common knowledge. I didn't even realise it was a spoiler.

It would've been a spoiler if you played it like, 4 years ago.

Right, so we're going to need to think about adding sounds soon. Who here has much audio experience and is willing to contribute?

So has anyone asked at Wolfire for permission to use Turner? Otherwise I could take care of that...

I'd be happy to help out with the audio. Is it just sound effects you're going to need, or music as well? I've seen no mention of music so far in my brief skim through the relevant threads; is there a plan to include any? Original music, or remixes of tracks from the original games?

We need sound effects more immediately, but we'll need both eventually. As far as music goes, we've never really discussed it much, but I imagine that it will mostly be remixes of tracks from the original games.

Count me in for both effects and music also! Just let me know what's needed, and for when.

I will try some animations, as that's the only I'm capable of. But I won't be able to do much, I lack skills and practice.

Nonsense Lucaz - I really like the Quote animation you did! Should work perfectly fine ingame. And I'm not the most skilled animator either - main thing is to have fun and get some content together! I would love to see more of your contributions!

That's right. We need lots of graphics, and we can't just sit back and expect Derek and Oracle to make them all.

I can work on the main menu, if no one else is doing that. I'm not very experienced with scripting in GM and I suck anus at pixel art. Has anyone got any ideas as to what the menu should look like? I'm thinking eventually we could have the menu buttons and title in the foreground and then some AIs duking it out in the background. But until AI is sorted out, I need someone to do a title splash in pixel art. I can do the buttons and maybe a background, and all the workings (go to singleplayer menu, go to multiplayer menu, whatever etc.)
