This looks like it could be fun, is there any plan to add structued levels or is it all random?

From the video and screenshots it seems like you have some depth sorting issues ..
coins should never be appearing on top of enemies/other important stuff.

it's all randomized, but there is some structure because as you get better, new enemy types start appearing.  but yes there's no levels as such.

good point, I think I did that on purpose because in this game coins are more important than anything else to survive.

HOOKBALL was finally released today.  I think I turned out pretty well, you could say I’m a proud dad.

So, let’s celebrate with a trailer!

HOOKBALL is available now on the iPad appstore.  It’s going to be free for a little while, as a special launch promotion.  However the game doesn’t feature in-app purchases, push notifications, microtransactions or ads.

Hey Udderdude, thanks!

Well, the thing is the whole thing was designed for a big touchscreen, so I'm not sure how a PC would play out.  I guess it'd be possible to make a similar concept work with a joypad, though it seems like a big undertaking.

How about mouse control?  Unless it requires multitouch in which case Shrug

yeah, good point.
I always play the game with the mouse for dev purposes (I use windows to develop).
It's playable but not very good unfortunately, because flicking with the mouse is a bit unnatural and in this game you have to flick all the time.
it could always be reworked I guess, but I don't have the energy to do anything else with this game, it's done and dusted as far as I'm concerned Smiley
