Hey there! I'm with One Wheel Wizard, and we're building Spellbound.

Spellbound is a sort-of-fighter, sort-of-shooter, all action, spell-flinging brawl. You'll play a wizard with a snazzy hat (snazzy is a Wizard term) and you'll have a wide variety of spells at your disposal to set other Wizards and their hats (which are not as snazzy as yours) on fire. Or, if you prefer, you can set it on lightning instead.

Our UI is not finalized yet (I've cunningly removed it from our screenshots); our artists are working on that. Aside from that, we've got a preliminary gameplay demo out. If you're interested you can check it out here: http://www.onewheelwizard.com/pre-alpha-tech-demo/ The soul of the game is its multiplayer, so get a few friends to try it out with.

There are currently two gameplay modes, Death Match and Horde. In Horde, there are a bunch of Wizards in wizard hats up against the players, who have Wizards with top hats. Enemies scale based on the number of players, except in the single player, which is currently tuned to make you want to play multiplayer instead.  Grin

We currently have plans for 60 spells and a half-dozen maps, and you'll have the ability to choose your hat and staff, rather than those being randomly generated.

We are running a Kickstarter to support the project, so if you and your pals enjoy the demo, we'd super appreciate it if you considered taking a look at that: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/onewheelwizard/spellbound-bind-spells-and-unleash-hell

Thank you, prospective Wizards, and have fun!
