looking forward to the JAM!
I'm thinking 12 onwards on Friday will be good. Southbank house has a reception, come in and ask for Beatnik Games (room 304), or me (Robin Lacey) or give me a call (on 07834 492555) - I can come downstairs and pick people up..

Tension is my forte, right now. I ordered a laptop from Overclockers on the 6th of October. Apparently, they're only just getting the parts tomorrow. That's damn near a whole month! AHHRGH! Another 2 days to build it, and another 2 days to deliver.. This is going to be really close. And damn I'm annoyed. I may not be able to immediately jam with people, and have to do a lot of pen and paper design or over the shoulder extreme programming stuff. PPPFFFUCK! |

I am bringing a laptop (avec Wacom tablet) on the Saturday if anybody really needs to use it for arts/coding/other. I'm not particularly averse to anybody borrowing it for a part of the evening...

My laptop arrived! Yay!
However, they may have forgotten to include wifi. Not a massive issue - I have a usb dongle I can use. Just wondering if there's going to be enough network ports to go around? Should I bring my own cable?

I'm doing a bit of (evil, evil) cross-posting here, but it's all in the name of good! Just posting to tell you guys I'm definitely able to offer two people a comfortable place to sleep. No need to bring an air bed or sleeping bag, it's all taken care of.
pm or email me to save yourself a spot! I live around the corner from Haowan, so if to many people wanted to stay there, I'll take the err.. leftovers.
I might stay at the office on one of the nights, as I do work best at night as well, but that's still up for debate. So yeah, let me know. As mentioned before, if Bezzy needs somewhere to stay, consider that one spot taken, but we'll figure it all out. |

I'll see if I can find my old EyeToy camera, but I'm not sure I'll be able to. There's always the face-o-vision offered by my macbook's iSight.

Hey guys. I'm a bit new to all this stuff. I mentioned to one of the Beatnik Games guys that I had just put my first flash game out (entered it into the Golden Joysticks too) and he said I should come down the TIGjam. I can bring an EyeToy cam, it's shining it's evil red LED at me right now. As well as my burning desire to make awesome games and my nifty hat |
