On the other hand, might be a good way to get a feel for the number of people thinking of attending...

I agree, we can't book somewhere without knowing roughly what the numbers are...

Count me in

Okay, I sent an email to Media Molecule about it Smiley We won't know unless we ask, eh?

I hope you don't mind, but I namedropped some of your games to give them an idea of what we were about.

Sorry to be so silent, we've just had a massive deadline (which we hit, hurrah!).

I havent had the chance to speak to any of the Uni's yet, i'll try and do so today/tomorrow

Oh yes, to confim, there's going to be a minimum of three of us. Two programmers and a producer (me!). We may have one/two more also (artist/the boss)

In other news, I had a chat with the boss. If prizes are being given away, we're happy to cough up for one  (obviously on a budget Wink )

All we ask is that you have a play of our upcoming game and tell us what you think (I would announce it here, but im goign to email the TIG editors with details)

Looking forward to it

how come mate?
Because there's no word on a venue yet, and I don't really want to book flights over until that's been sorted. :/

That's totally understandable mate, no one would expect you to book flights prior to everything getting sorted..

Afraid I cant do anything today (I'm totally swamped at work) however if we still havent got anything by monday, i'll start hammering the phones and see what i can come up with.

Media Molecule have not replied thus far.

The Southbank place's "full days" are actually only 8 hours.

I've also looked into some church halls in London. They're pretty hard to find, and the ones that I have found generally cost upwards of £400 for 8 hours and don't have any internet facilities anyway.

I'm in the same position as Increpare Cry Let's get this sorted out ASAP!

edit: We're talking like, what, 10 people max? Can't we just crash someone's flat for the weekend? You're all welcome to come to my place if you want and we can have a TIGJam:Dublin instead :D
