Some guys on the GMG introduced me to this, and I was surprised nobody has mentioned it here. It's a text based MMO, but I won't explain it any more in depth because there's a perfect description here. So, has anyone here been playing this? It's kind of fascinating, just watching how people get really worked up about an imaginary war. If anyone's interested I'll send them an invite, but you're on your own from there, since I don't have enough for more than one.

Done. Just one thing I forgot to mention, live in the Czech Republic. That's sort of becoming the indie gaming country.

I'm curious what the interface is like? Is this more like a browser game such as Travian, or more like a mud, or some hybrid?

Hrm. I wanted to start in Germany, but was a bit surprised when I ended up in Dusseldorf, Sweden. Now I'm working in a fast food chain for our swedish oppressors, since nobody gave me a job in the hospital business.
This is a surprisingly depressing game.

I wanted to start in Sweden. I'm currently on the waiting list until they let me play. Yay for Germans in Sweden!

There have always been interactive experiences that go beyond entertainment. For example, if mafia games are too fun for you, then you can always join the mafia.
