Game looks excellent. Smiley

I like the look of your game... but why did you make it 2D? you could have made anything and you went with a 2D game. I always wonder why people make what they want to make. Also, why go with the green color scheme?
Wait... Why not?

Why not make a 2D game? What's wrong with 2D games?  Shrug  In whole this is a rather long question to answer... I recommend starting at the beginning of the devlog and reading the links I posted to various interviews and such about the game....

http://gengame.net/2012/09/gengame-exclusive-interview-two-brothers-developers-talk-zelda-connections-afterlife-gameplay-and-blending-modern-and-classic-styles/ <--- that for example.

Troll detected...

golemshaper: you should definitely have the possibility of nearest-neighbour/nearest-pixel scaling in the game Wink

*facepalm*
I just realized the joke between the brothers' names.
That's actually pretty clever.

Looking at this image helps if you still haven't gotten it.

@rivon: That's implemented on the PC version already! still a work in progress on the MAC and Linux builds, but that is just a matter of sitting down and doing it... still looking for some Ipad solutions, but I think some of my ideas will work. I'm going to post video of the game running on the ipad soon to see what you guys think of the approach.

@DustyDrake:  Wink Cheesy There are a few people involved wit the game who still haven't gotten it.

Here is a clip from the games soundtrack: http://soundcloud.com/ackkstudios/two-brothers-lullaby-no-4
It's used during one of many dream sequences when Roy falls asleep in an inn.  Wink Can't wait to hear what you guys think!  Well, hello there!

Congrats on the Kickstarter success! Loving what I'm seeing of this; it's making me all nostalgic for Link's Awakening. Can't wait to try out the demo!

I'm sorry if I came off like  a troll.. I ask too many questions at once so I come off like I'm attacking you. The game does look interesting! I checked out your website and I saw you do 3D graphics that are pretty damn good, so I was curious why you aren't making a 3D game... but hey, to each his own. I am looking forward to your game and I'm happy people like it for you...

It's cool. I'll be making many games in my life. some will be 2D, and others will be 3D. I just happen to like both styles I guess.

Just popping in to say that I got approved for my PAX East booth!

Myself, Tyler, Ian, Andrew, Brigid, and Jose will be there to show off the game running on it's various platforms! It should be the week before the game is released, so it'll be an exciting time for us! We'll probably have a prototype of our next game on display as well.

Also, I am not ashamed to admit Indie Game: The Movie gave us the idea to go for it.  Gomez Wink

Is anyone planning on attending or showing their game off there?   Well, hello there!
