When it is finished!!! Tongue
Working on getting some new gameplay trailers up... and also one really nice trailer before the game is released now that I've reworked all of Roys animations! Expect that around the 21st.

The fact that 2D games are doable in Unity doesn't mean that it's easy and IMO it's going to be quite harder than doing it in SFML or something.

Do you think that they could write it with SFML and have it x-compile for PC, OSX, Linux, iOS, Android and Wii U? Without loosing huge amount of time on porting and preparing some kind of framework for it to work on all of these?
As SFML is working only in Win/Lin/Mac, no. SDL2 on the other hand would work Wink

Happy New Year everyone!

Here are some screens from Two Brothers, and some quick notes...

Quick Notes:
I've been working on swimming in the game.

After you find a swim suit (and equip it in the changing room) you can dive into deep pools of water.

The game changes to a side view for deep swimming.

Story censored for spoilers  Who, Me? .

Game is moving along nicely! We've got most of the games Dungeon areas outlined/finished, and our large side quest is nearly complete!  Wink

We're also almost done with our prequel comic that sets up the game. (The comic takes place about 7 hours before the events of the game begins)
Here are some panels from that:

When these are done they'll be colored... (but not too colored Cheesy)

Thanks a lot guys!

A few other things:

We've been toying with the idea of releasing Two Brothers on a USB drive that looks like a Cartridge. (as well as in digital forms of course) We're not entirely sure if we'll do this yet, as we want to make sure that people would have interest in buying the game in this physical form (possibly including it in the collectors edition) before we place an order to have this concept produced, Let us know what you think and help us make our choice!

I've also been working on the displays for Two Brothers at Pax East.

Still needs a few coats of paint, some vinyl lettering, a monitor, buttons, sides... a back... a top... a lot! But a pretty good start.

I'm building four of them that are in the colors Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. I'll post a few more images tomorrow once I've put it together a bit more.

I'm pretty sure a USB drive shaped like that would sell like hot cakes in general...

Still needs a monitor, some vinyl lettering (Ackk Studios/Two Brothers branding) and a whole for the controller cable... it's getting there!
Only 3 more to go Tongue

Which color should I make next... Green, Blue, or Yellow?

Wow!  That looks awesome.  Love the dedication and hard work you guys are putting into this.

What color to make next?  Well, I vote green.  I suppose it doesn't matter too much as it looks like you guys are going to make all four.

Haha! We needed a way to lock up our computers and monitors so they wouldn't get stolen/damaged... and this was the best design we could come up with!

We'll also have 7 foot tall posters featuring artwork from the game, and a screenshot collage.

It was a little weird seeing the gameboy with a wide screen at first... but it's grown on me.  Kiss

Not much explanation required... just that this is near the end of the game.  Cheesy
