Oh! I'm sorry. It's going to be a little cave entrance way you need to go through, but since I was on a roll making the mountain area I decided to go back and just put that there. So yes, if it was going to ledge permanently than yes, you should jump it, however in the future it will be a cave entrance way.

One other thing. I'm guessing this screenshot was hard to get considering that in the video the Swordsmans and Roy are constantly talking over each other Is there any way for you to change the way that the "Geez they think I'm Biv" line triggers?

You can't climb down that wall until you break away the rock from below. Breaking the wall away makes a short cut for when you have to go back to the top. You don't have to go back up at this point. Is what you meant? Don't think so. He's refering to the point where you walk off the back side of a cliff and end up walking UNDER the little bit of cliff wall. Yes, Thank you for pointing that out. You might kill someone one of these days.

@eyeliner Fixed cave: @DustyDrake The dialogue is going to be varied, but when I posted that video I had only just begun that making that area.

DustyDrake:The joke was it's supposed to sound barbaric. A tribe of barbarians that speak in broken English teach you how to do this. Whats more barbaric than eating a heart to gain it's strength? I certainly got a District 9 vibe - that Nigerian warlord scene?

From what I could see in the video, there appears to be only one attack- a slash when you press the button. Unless I'm mistaken, you might want to add some sort of combo system.

There is also a super attack (which can be turned into a spin attack by turning around in the middle of the attack.), and arrows. we are also adding a whip, and a two-step combo.

Thank you very much for that! We hired a foley artist to create 100% original sound effects. The borrowed sounds are just holding the place until he is done working. Awesome to see that on the blog! :D

I listened to all of the music you have up on soundcloud. Some good tunes there that definitely take me back to the good days. The graphics are great but there is a part of me that wishes they were SNES instead of GBA - I'm thinking Secret of Mana.

The lack of colour is part of the story - note how the music is clearly more 16 bit era than gameboy.
