OK, so I've got a few games on the go right now, and within the next few months I'll probably put together some trailers.  I really don't want to use YouTube (it just feels like white trash to me), so what are some good alternatives?

OK, maybe this should be under Business, but I've always treated that board as one about actual commerce, so...yeah.

Yeah, I'd thought of vimeo, but I'd heard that they're not allowing game videos anymore.  Is there some kind of exception for us developers or something?

Video game developers may post videos of their work provided they cite their involvement in the description of the video (maps and mods to commercial games don't count).

Also check out this thread which I started a while ago on the same topic. (um, video hosting for video games that is..)

Thanks; Terms and Conditions take awhile to sift through, and since this change was pretty recent, I wasn't even sure if those had been updated yet (though I should have assumed that they were).

I think I'll definitely go with vimeo then; seems like a classy enough place for a self respecting gentleman  Gentleman
