digging: You can only dig downwards and you walk horizontally just like normal. It's a bit simple, but maybe I could include some falling rocks like in Dig Dug or add some nasty creatures. Dunno.
I love the digging mechanic. I'm a huge fan of dig dug and mario 2. I hope you can find all sorts of fun places to put it.

@zachstronaut: The leveldesign is a challenge. And my weak point. We will see... @mrseguin: Trust me, you don't want to hear me talking in english. (My english teachers are still suffering) But I would write.a script if George Clooney would do the talking... Peeps is for me this little marshmallow birds you find in every CVS shop in America.But doesn't sound the same thing.

Nothing new here, except the fact that I am still working on a (nonplayable) demo of the game... I hope development will speed up after I have finished the demo, because the low level code will be finished then and I can concentrate on the game itself. Yes, it looks a bit like a spiritual successor to Pitfall or Pharaohs Curse, but I think this is because of the C64 colors and C64 graphics in general. Currently, the gameplay itself is a little bit different. (Ok, maybe except you encounter alligators) The job for the musician is already assigned, but I will remmeber you, just in case But beware, the music has to be composed with goattracker, because there will be a C64 version of the game and everything has to be 100% authentic, including the music.

This is awesome! I spent so much time on the C64 both playing games and learning the craft of game development. I wouldn't call it nostalgia vibes for me but I do think it is quite interesting. Looks great but I see that as just a different aesthetic with the low colors low res (double wide multicolor mode) pixels. And that's a great thing I think certainly tired of seeing games striving for real life graphics that I can get by walking outside. Gameplay looks very interesting. I really appreciate the attention to detail you've put in it.
Is it getting close to a playable demo or Steam Greenlight release?
