SecondChanceStudios is a group of 6 dedicated students from Qantm College Melbourne in our final year of a degree in a bachelor of interactive entertainment.

We are Nearing the midway point of our 24 week project to make a game that caters from the social gamer to the most serious gamers we are begining to implement finalised art in to the levels and iron out some of the design flaws.

I've answered the questionnaire. I think you have a bug that might be caused by dying when under the effect of the low gravity zones (blue squares): you seem to continue to do huge jumps every time you replay until you beat/quit the level.

Main character has been sorted out and ready to be modelled up. Should be in the build in 4 weeks fully functional. Also working on customisable costumes ready in 5 weeks.

The music you chose in the trailer does not fit the game's pace at all, try picking something significantly less power-metal.

The music was rushed to get the trailer done for a major presentation of the game.  We are now working with a couple of excellent audio guys from SAE institute Melbourne on developing a unique and interesting audio experience for the game.

So the game has now been in production for 17 weeks and we are nearing the 24 week deadline.

To celebrate this we will be presenting our game at the Melbourne Armageddon Expo Tomorrow so if your able to come down and have a go in person I strongly suggest you do

Some new features
-Complete new art style to work with the game
- Character Customisation
- 8 Brand new levels
- A new character model
- New modifier blocks (Springboards/Low gravity fields)
- GamePad integration
- Menu system

As you can see since the last update we have been very busy.


For those that cant make it to the Armageddon Expo Tomorrow we will be putting the build on our website in the coming days for all to play.

I tried out the demo.  Seems pretty cool, but also difficult.  Could there be an option to adust the camera so it's zoomed in closer or farther?

Sorry i have taken so long to reply but unfortunately no there will not be that option although since then the camera has been tweaked to be more user friendly.

We are releasing a beta version of the game in the coming weeks.

The game has been evolving over the last couple of months with various new art styles and core features.

If you want to see the updated build jump onto our website and give it a go

New build is online!

Features include:
- 12 revised/balanced levels
- Revised menu art
- Stats now working
- Autosave fixed
- Diary pages to collect
- revised character animations
- Dialogue system
- Level progression (locking levels)

Another build should be up by the weekend with a bunch of art in it and maybe some more features.
