Hey guys and gals! It's been a bumpy hiatus, but
Schrödy is back!
Sorry for having left this thread hanging for so long, we've had a few
setbacks in the making of the game, but we finally sorted it all out, and I can proudly say you guys can
bite my solid halt!
A couple problems we've had during the last few months culminated in us having to revert the game from
Construct2 back to
Flash, and that meant a lot of rework had to be done, but we finally caught up with our previous version, and the dream of having a
playable alpha draws closer and closer!
Now, to prove our time of absence wasn't just fun and games, here's a sneak peek of how the introductory level of the game is coming along:
Also, if you people've been following Retromaze's
twitter or
facebook accounts, you know that we're working on the first boss encounter of the game:
And last but not least, the overworld screen I posted a WIP of earlier is finally finished!
During the next updates to this devlog I plan to show the revamping of the underground and cemetery tiles I'm working on, and maybe reveal some ideas I have for alpha-testing the game in the
(hopefully near) future.
As always, critique and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
And thanks a lot for the continued support even when we vanished. This means a lot to us, for real.
