Saker had a great idea and i want to start talking about and seeing 3d awesomeness on tig too! i'll start with a model i did months ago that ended up not used, and one from Circle, the game i'm working on: it's not that good, expecially the texture, but i did it really fast. And it's also very lowpoly... and here a screenshot of Circle showing my latest model, a giant robot

various shaders but nothing fancy :)there's no cel-shading at all, only flat colors.
cool shapes for the mecha! maybe there are too much polygons in some zones compared to other bigger ones.. i'm mostly talking about the rocket shaped stuff on the arms of the first robot, nice design tho! will you texturize them?

Love the thread already! Some old stuff from me that I've probably posted before in other threads: 300 tris, 64x64 texture 517 tris, 128x128 texture 168 tris, 64x64 texture I'll more than likely have some new models to show in the future sometime.

This machine is epic in every aspect. Especially the anus-like looking exhaust nozzle. It is exhaust nozzle... isn't it...?

I like this one, certainly not bad for someone who claims to be new! Same for all the others, it looks awesome!

Here are my 5 cents. This rendering is 3 years old and that's the way I left the model since then. I'm not even sure if still I have the file anywhere around.

Wow, I didn't realize there were this many 3d artists. I never grasped any of it.

Get Skullboy finished and we might have a deal sah! This machine is epic in every aspect. Especially the anus-like looking exhaust nozzle. It is exhaust nozzle... isn't it...? It is an exhaust nozzle type thing. Was meant to be more exhaust looking that anus looking though

Nice stuff, everyone! I'd love to see that giant robot in motion, Eclipse Recently I was playing with a black and white outline rendering (possibly to be filtered for a kind of vectrex look), so here's an early test of that: Also I did a 3D animation with some other kids as class project a year and a half ago -- it's over hereIt featured eyeballs ...

3D background I did for a project I was working on a while ago and gave up. Was trying to keep it low polly.

I posted some of my experiments with Zbrush in creating 3D pre-rendered backgrounds (intended for use in a RPG-ish game, similar to Star Ocean or FF7, which used prerendered backgrounds) here: http://rinku.livejournal.com/1456617.htmlHere's one: I'm still learning Zbrush though, so these aren't very good.
