Fish, those are amazing!  A squid gun is a great idea. Shocked

Saker, Hajo, I like your models, too!

That is amazing work. I've been messing around with Blender this week (baring distracting wife techniques) and haven't even remotely figured out the UV unwrapping. I'm still working on how to make tentacles. Did you use the sculpt tool for the face or build it from an image?

Amazing work. Smiley

Thanks!  I built it from an image (front of head, side of head).  I watched a few of these tutorials to get an idea of what to do.

I'm so tempted to start another one, but I really should take a break...

Man; the last time I played around with blender, meta-balls were still cool.

Are they back in fashion yet?

No. That's why you should use them.

Here's my new one:

[...]
It's still just a head, but it's a bit more complex.  UV Unwrapping is pretty tricky, and there's obviously a lot to learn there.  My texture is still getting stretched in some bad places, like that metal thing on his head and his eyes.  Does anyone have any tips?

OMG DEREK GOES 3-D!!!!!!!!!111oneelevenoneone

The model is quite simple but the texture work is awesome, if you want a tip: next time try to add more details in 3d to substain the ones you do later on the texture  Beer!
