Since I think most of the mods on official forum suck..
Here is the awesome.

By that I mean post good mods in this thread :D.

The only thing I ask is that the thing isn't:
Made in MSPaint.
Just a reskin.

I'll post my mods here once I find a place to upload them (Since using the attachments on the official forum is a dick thing to do.)

Ahright then.

Revolver
http://h1.ripway.com/Inane/SixShooter.rte.rar

Flame pack (Explosives)
http://h1.ripway.com/Inane/Flamepack.rte.rar

I'm pretty sure there are no bugs brought on by the newest version.

And a nice gif showing the power of the revolver.

Hey hey! I just realized we have a section for attachments... That makes things a hell of a lot easier. (Dammit!)

I still like this one a lot:

Yes he ripped the art from MS, but the mod implementation is still impressive to me.

This thread is so very good.  Anonymous demands moar!

By the way -- I showed my friend just one of those little .gif captures of CC yesterday and he was blown away.  I don't think he realized indie games could also be awesome.  (I blame RPG Maker.)

Hmm... Dunno if I should submit this one here.
It's a cargo box. One way delivery for cheap.

Be careful though, it it hits a majorly uneven surface you're gonna lose atleast a leg.

Herchaw! Custom actor.
You guys should make something, the language used by the game is very simple.

Orrrr, alternatively, you could just tell me what you want and I might make it.

Yeah, I don't quite know where this anti RPG Maker snobbery comes from - all Lysander's games are made with RPG Maker, and they're maybe the best indie games of all. And the most indie, at that.

Haha, don't misunderstand!  I'm not dissing the RPG Maker folks.  Embarrassed

The comment actually came from him telling me just that.

Though, best and most idie of all?  Shocked

uh huh he did

[edit: alright, I can do better than that Smiley I used to be a huge RPG maker snob - in fact the RPG engine that I've been working on for the past few years is my own in C++ and Allegro. It wasn't until I played Lysander's RPG maker games that I saw how utterly wrong I'd been on the issue. It's supposed to be about the game, not the engine. Duh, Echo...

As for the "most indie" comment, it's maybe a little over the top, but it's fair - Lysander has single handedly made more than one of the finest RPGs ever made. And he did it using a tool that's completely despised by "real" Indies. I have a serious amount of respect for that, heh.

Oh, and I'm not dissing you, more the issue of RPG Maker snobbery - if your comment is taken out of context that sucks, heh.]

What, I don't get any credit for hand-assembling my games by directly manipulating the inodes on my hard disk with a magnet?

I see how this is.
