Nice concept. And I really like the new art, but for some reason I keep thinking it could be a bit more vibrant and cartoony (think bubblegum).

Yeah, I think you could push your ranges further.

It would also be nice if you used your blocks in a more architectural way rather than having a semi-random assemblage of blocks. I think it would give it a greater solidity. Like the floor is fine, but the wall on the left has confusing depth what with the random dark gaps.

Can there be a character select screen for bulge size?

On topic: lovely stuff and awesome player character. the blues are great but the reds are a little to close to our man's speedo. also maybe the tile set is a little clean and geometrically sound? rough them pixels up! can't wait to see more

I agree with thernz and also feel like those blocks are too simple.  You've got really detailed trees and vines and underwear power-ups(?) and then big red squares.  Some cracks or texture or something would really help to tie them together.

Love the character!

surprisingly, this game is not dead. we've been putting a lot of work into it this past month, and we're looking to pitch it to a certain flash game website by early march.

a LOT of things have changed since we started this project, and it's gone through its fair share of lulls/development hell. but it's starting to wrap up.

here's the main menu thus far:
