i'm a stupid faggot
how about you go fuck yourself? take this shit elsewhere, this is the thread where we post games to upvote, not to downvote. You're right, I'm sorry that I misused the thread. OT: Castaway Paradise looks pretty nice.

The whole collection aspect of Greenlight is really awesome. The UI and setup is not bad for a first go.

My pals Drule and Konix (who worked on Barkley) and Skyline (who did the music for put up their game Buck and Miles. It's pretty early, I don't know why they put it up so soon, but I'm looking forward to it and I'm hoping the best for them. How exactly does Greenlight work? I don't really know anything about it. If a game gets a certain threshold or ratio of votes, does it become an actual Steam game, or does that just make it a review candidate? Is there an FAQ I can read somewhere?

Chef Boyardee, read the Greenlight FAQs on the Greenlight page to find out secrets! http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/about/?appid=765§ion=faqHow many votes does a game need to get selected? It's going to change during the first few days/weeks since we don't know what kind of traffic to expect. Part of the drive for this system is the need for customers to help us prioritize which games they want to see made available on Steam. So the specific number of votes doesn't matter as much as relative interest in a game compared with other games in Steam Greenlight.
We're going to be reaching out to developers as we see their games getting traction regardless of whether they have achieved a specific number of votes or are sitting 1st or 2nd place at any given time. We are most interested in finding the games that people want, not requiring them to always hit a specific number of votes.

Sorry for derailing the thread for a bit once again, but I feel this needed to be pointed out: The elephant in the room is the cloning issue, of course – so let us get that out of the way first: Ninja Fishing and Muffin Knight. We’re superglad to see so many people standing up for original gameplay and experimenting with simple, minimalist and new mechanics.
Muffin Knight isn’t a 1:1 clone of Super Crate Box. We’d argue that the strength of Super Crate Box is in its minimalism and Muffin Knight turned away from that and added things like upgrades. Sure, we’d have loved to see some more original weapons, but besides that it’s pretty obvious that they put effort into their design: there’s a lot of things built around the gameplay & they differentiated the theme a lot – not because they wanted to hide that they ‘cloned’ the gameplay, but because they believed that was the best thing to do for their game. We think Super Crate Box iOS & Muffin Knight can easily co-exist without biting eachother & for us, that places it a long way ahead of Ninja Fishing. Vlambeer does not seem to consider Muffin Knight a harmful clone of its game Super Crate Box, despite having done lots of talks, interviews, etc stating cloning is harmful and people should reject clones.

If you're just collecting games by people who post on TIGsource I have a couple, but I'm not sure I'm around here often enough to really count as One Of You.

I just want to cuddle that cluster of games way down there at the bottom and tell them they're special.
