Overview

Beatemup with some shooting and a dash of platforming. Your goal in the game is to take down a Factory Farm and kill everyone who crosses your path.

Story


The main character is a bull named Killgore who was castrated and left for dead in a field outside of a slaughterhouse. He is rescued by Animal Liberation Front and is given a second chance. However he cannot forget the horrors committed against him and he returns to the Factory Farm armed with a machine gun.



Basic Controls


Arrow Keys - walk forward, back, up, down
A - Punch (hold down for 3 hit combo)
S - Shoot
D - Jump
F - Guard

Advanced Controls

    * Strong Attack= direction+punch
          o up+attack = uppercut (launches)
          o down+attack = goring the legs (hits small enemies)


    * Aerial Strong Attack= direction+punch
          o forward+attack = flying headbutt (flies forward)
          o back+attack = reverse stampede
          o up+attack = rising rodeo kick (launches) 
          o down+attack = gore drop (smashes enemy into ground)


    *     Run= tap forward or back twice. Automatically headbutts when he touches an enemy


    *     Grab= Punch+Guard

          o Grab attack= punch
          o Throw = jump

Things we are going to add to the final game:

1.Music and Sound FX
2.Level Graphics (obviously)
3.Huh?Huh?

But the gun looks like it was cut and pasted from a photo - imho the same handdrawn style would look quite a lot better (except if you have that sort of trashy look in your mind).

LOL yeah it was cut and pasted. I planned on swapping out the gun graphics eventually but I've grown quite attached to the trashy look of it Tongue

Looking good.

That was one of the things that I thought up originally but I don't know how feasible it is during game play, since the animation will take at least 5 or 6 seconds. Maybe it can be his way of finishing bosses?

Have you got a coder for this yet?

I've been meaning to learn Flash, so it might be a cool project to do that with.

Yes, I can already code in C/C++, Python, etc., and I program professionally (though not games!), so when I say "learn" I don't expect anything worse than having to learn a new API.
