Honestly I think half life 2's story delivery was over rated. Sure it was good but it wasn't really revolutiounary. All it did was play a cutscene without taking controll away from you. You still couldn't interact at all with them. It was still basicly a pre-scripted cutscene. Any interaction you had was largley superficcial. I mean they didn't even pause when you started picking up cans and throwing them at there head.

I think listening to people talk came off as really interesting and awesome if you'd just done a PHYSICS PUZZLE.

Aliens are invading or whatever. Meanwhile, Gordon Freeman is moving bricks onto a plank.
