Estimated Release Date: late 2013 / Early 2014

Hey guys,
here is our topic for a game our team(LittleForestGames) is making.
It's a FPS unlike others. Instead of being a human like many other FPS,
you are a alien trying to escape a distant planet and take over other planets
including Earth.

Story:
After escaping annihilation of your home planet, you and your people are placed into cryogenic sleep upon your spaceship destined for a new home planet. However, upon awakening, you have come to realize that you and you people have been abducted by an alien race. You soon come to realize that most of your people are not quite acting like themselves, and you suspect they are being manipulated by the aliens. Along with the others who seems to have resisted the control of the aliens, you set forth to free your people and claim the planet as your own.

Links:
The game will have to be payed for, but to help development I'm letting people play
and suggest things to add! Be warned that these builds are early in development and will
change around alot.

Ill try the game, i thought of picking up unity, but i'm developing a roguelike right now so i don't want to. *After i play it* well, i hope you make WASD a part of the controls, using the arrow keys is awkward. The intro music is very loud, but it fits. Ill follow this.

Unity is a pretty good engine, easy to use and does what I want it to do.
And WASD can be used, I'll add that to the OP. And I'm working on what music
should go to the title menu and what should not. Thanks for the support!

As we keep adding new content to the game, we are getting closer to the first video! Here are some things that you should expect:
-Intermediate Enemy AI
-Scoping in will allow better accuracy
-Fall damage depending on how high you fell
-Basic GUI
-Health Regenerates
-Menu screen change
-Basic Parkour(Possible, not 100% sure it will make it into next update)
-More here
More pictures will come soon.

Merry Christmas everyone! No update came this week because its a week off, but next update should include new custom textures. Also I'm hoping to add the ability to change what scope(or iron sight) you have.

Sorry that I haven't posted here for a while, but because of that I have a quick update for yu all!
-Reorganized the team, some are unresponsive so that brought us down to 3 memebers including me.
-Hired two other members, a concept artist/3d modeler and a 3D modeler, so that makes 5
-By the end of the month, I want the game to be at least 25% complete
-Story and optimization is being worked on

Expect pictures today since it's screenshot saturday!

New update out! This one includes:
-Working on SP story, not much there but it will be fixed in the middle of the week
-Menus revised, now work much better
-Player can now interact and pickup objects/weapons
-Got a few temporary textures, they are subjected to change

Since there isn't much in SP atm, expect a (in-testing) multiplayer mode in the middle of the week!

Made progress today. Re added scoping in (this one's code is MUCH simpler than the other)
and made enemies a bit smarter. Here's a picture until next build.

Mid-Week update:
I've been working on assets and the story, and I like how the story basis is right now.

What's your experience with NGUI been like so far? I was considering investing in it myself.

Have not found alot of help sources on it, but it's a great alternate to scaleform. Quick, easy, and simple. I'm planning on investing on it.

Looks interesting. Smiley Can't test the game yet due to being out of state for a few days, but I will certainly try to find the time for this. Smiley

Greatly improved AI today, I'll keep working on it so enemies will retreat, wander around the area, etc.
Game is almost ready for it's first video, now to work on the level.

here's a midweek update. Flashlight is in a equipped slot and is number 1(1,2,and 3).
Also, you can go fullscreen by going to the main menu, pressing options, choosing screen resolution, and checking fullscreen.
Changes are:
-Added flashlight (press 1)
-Added crouching (Press and hold C)
-Fixed camera clipping
-Changed up test level
-Webplayer should load faster

Game is shaping up, almost ready to start building the first level. Also multiplayer mode
will come later on. For now you can host and join servers but it won't drop you in.
