Hey yall... Pandara_RA! Suggested I post in the room requesting for help.

I am trying to create a game on UDK 3 Engine. A Third person, over the shoulder and topdown locked position camera, 3D real time strategy game called Battleships Crossfire X.

The original strategy game was a mod of WC3 Frozen Throne. It was started by Sked, and then changed several hands, and Say_No_To_War took over. Back in the day it was a tie in competitor to DOTA, and today is one of the most played maps, and has steady community of players.

Myself and many many people discussed about expanding the game, but no one could or wanted to do it. Until almost a year ago, I retired, and started building this, after seeing the monumental success of League of Legends, and DOTA2. I brought the original maker  Crossfire on as a partner, for legal reasons. And started building this game.

I am currently 9mo into the project, and it is moving along like a turtle. But it is getting done.

I am looking for additional help to help speed up the process.

What I am looking for in people, are the ones who can be depended on, who are reliable. Those who say they will do something by x date. I wont have to inquire the day after, did you finish it? People who can work well together and are excellent communicators and can follow policies that were set in place for prosperity reasons.

I need to fill the following positions.
Art Department
  • 3D Animator
  • Texture Artist,
  • Landscape artist,
Coding Department
  • Kismet coder
  • C++ Coder
  • Web Dev (Pear,Smarty,PHP, Html5, Postgres on an Ubuntu server)
Media Department
  • Concept artist,
  • Poster and Box art,
  • Sound fx specialist.
The complexity of this game is immense, as the plan is to out do DOTA2 and League of Legends, and almost create a brand new genre, as the intentions is to make a Virtual World as well as an RTS combined.

I have been working on all of this stuff mostly by myself, but I'd like to speed it up, mainly because the fans of the original game, are a tad bit impatient.

Inquiring individuals should know,
That before discussing the game in great detail, an NDA must be signed.
I will make a work and pay contract too that needs to be signed. Protecting the developer and my company.

If you are interested, please email me at [email protected]

This is a copy of the original battleships crossfire.

Here are some screenshots of the new game in development.

from the original --->

I've known this fellow for a long time through WC3 and we all remain friends to this day even after ~8 years. I can vouch that he is not a dev scammer and is more than 100% serious about this project.

I told him that Tigsource has a collection of the finest indie devs (and super best friends) and he should look for his help there first before any other location.

I want to take the time, and say thanks to those who inquired about positions.
Rather than constantly responding to them about the benefits about helping with the creation of the game.

I'll post the general in here.

Will my name be listed in the credits?
Yes. Anyone who does work in small or large parts will have their name listed in the credits.
Are you willing to give references to other game companies?
The answer is based on the quality of your work, and ability to follow directives, and reliability.

Will I have any kind of monetary reimbursement?

Yes and No. No you will not have monies at the start. But if you stick around for the entire duration of pre-production, beta testing, and launch, you will recieve a back pay bonus along with the option of becoming a full time employee.

What kind of work are you expecting?
Well like I listed before...

What kind of workload are you requesting?
Well I think it's obvious this is no simple project, so what ever amount of time you can spare is appreciated. The more the better.

Again I appreciate the interest, I hope there is more to come.
