I like the idea of throwing things to clear your path. Something like that track level from Crash 'n the Boys.

Originally throwing stuff was going to be to slow down other people ahead of you, but hitting grannies on the head with empty coffee cans sounds good too! I'd never seen Crash 'n the Boys. Looks cute, with the same sprites as River City Rampage.

Four people can run along in four slices of the screen, and collide with things. Still not sure about the control scheme. Whether left/right button mashing will be fun, or if I should go for for automatic running-right, or holding right.

New art scene from James. We're still trying to get the perspective right. Comments and feedback welcome!

First in-game screenshot with art by James The game is pretty hectic and fun to play with 4 people at the moment. It looks a lot better in motion but I haven't worked out how to do those huge animated gifs that all the rage. Current progress: - Character art for 4 of 8 characters
- Player animations with Spriter
- Basic sound effects
- Getting drinks from vending machines and throwing them
- Dumb AI that jumps at random
There's still so much more we want to get done before the deadline!

Hheeeeuughh final deadline push. I'm really happy with how the game looks, all thanks to @jamesshedden, but the end-of-match gameplay is still really broken. Trains disappearing and getting stuck and stuff. Will try to post something tomorrow that runs at least. Not sure what the deal is with deadline strictness and timezones and whatnot. Run granny run!

OK first build is up. Still working on bundling the .love into a .exe and .app. It's rather buggy. Sorry.
UPDATE: OS X doesn't run for some reason. Removing link for now till it's fixed.

Nice entry. I had fun playing. That is until my man started flying. He flew all the way to the train, I won as you'd expect, then the train made this huge screeching sound. After that random images of the different characters in different locations started flashing around the screen whilst creepy accordion music was playing. It was all a bit freeky and creepy pasta-esque. Other than that bit of weirdness it was enjoyable. Good stuff
