Climbing that mountain...

This space reserved. I have a couple of ideas I want to try out. Whenever I figure out which one is more fun, I'll edit this post.

Initial thoughts:

  - Something like the old Decathlon/* Games (Summer, Winter, California), but taken to ridiculous extremes. A set variety of events, each with similar but different control schemes.

 -OR-

  - Football (soccer) of some sort. I always liked the control schemes, movement, and shooting mechanics in the old arcade football games, but found the actual games themselves rather insipid. So something that uses the control scheme/mechanics, but is thematically more interesting. I think I already know where I want to take this, but want to do some tests to see if it is actually fun.

 -OR-

 - Duck Hunt/Skeet Shooting, but also cranked to 'ridiculous'.

I have been playing NHL '94 a bit lately, and know exactly what you mean about the old "shoot/pass thing around and score" game mechanics. Looking forward to see what you come up with! Hand Thumbs Up Left

Do you plan to support a game pad (such as xbox 360?)

Yeah, I do plan on supporting game pads, once I figure out what the control scheme is going to be exactly.

Will post a more substantial update this weekend.
