Ahh... the glory of comments on YoYoGames. I love visiting it every now and then only for the sake of what people there write about my and other indie games.

Quote from: Brilliant review of my MAGI
The most expensive game on YoYo Games!
It's beautyful and wonderful!
Dreamly game!
I'm direct it!
I'm totally direct it!

I'm pretty sure I have the most expensive game on YoYo Games, because your game is only 20$ whereas mine is 23$.

Mine is 23$ too since a while *dramatic chord*! What now? I'm direct it!

And back to the topic. I don't think that architekt meant anything harmful when creating this thread. You can think whatever you want of YoYo games and that doesn't change the fact that comments there are often pretty random and funny. As cactus mentioned - it's a very young community and if you had any longer experience with it, you eventually stop taking it serious.

Also, Seizure Dome is my absolutely favorite catus's game. And exactly because it's short, quick and up to the point experience.

Yeah Seizure Dome is my fav too.  But BDTUW looks freaking awesome and I'm a platformer man so I have a feeling that'll take the top spot for me when it comes out.

Yay cactus. Honestly, his style isn't really my thing... but his games are just plain fun.

Maybe it's just me, but Mondo Medicals has to be my favorite Cactus game. Even if it is only because the story made me go "wait, what?" multiple times. And, like you said, its short length means that you can play the whole thing through without too much time commitment (unless you get stuck, of course,  Sad ).

And I know my games are too short. But it's either that or most of the games I've made wouldn't have been released at all.

Oh Catcus, your games aren't too short!  They're like eating delicious chocolates out of a heart shaped box sent to me from Sweden.

Short and sweet. The best way to enjoy. Some games just work better short, and for Cactus that is the way it goes for most of the games.

Not very relevant, but cactus' computer crashed, so he has lost some projects that he hadn't stored on his external HD.

Among the lost are Cave of Clark, Brave Karma Warriors

Luckily BDTUW is still there.

When, when will the world learn the lessons of backup from the cruel tutelage of Hard Disk Crash and his minions? Sad

Cactus did. But some pigs escape, then get lost. That's what pigs do.
