Hey everyone,

new here and what could be a better way to enter the forums, than joining a competition :D I'm going to go for something more traditional - a snowboarding game about a dude, who's been working the whole week in a hotel's gift shop, while there was a snow storm outside. He then gets a free day from work and proceeds to enjoy his favorite sport, but a nasty avalanche decides to ruin his plans. So far I have some ideas, but since I came up with the idea yesterday in the night and I just found out about the compo a couple of hours ago in school - there's no WIP stuff yet. But hopefully soon.

Cheers!

Thanks, Job!

Alright, after a couple of hours, I've got the basic sprite for the main character done and I have him shredding around a white screen, leaving a pretty crappy trail. The trail effect will have to do for now, until I come up with a better way to do it. On to making some textures here and there and some scenery heh Smiley

Nice carving, dude. The tail shows justifiable abnormal activity. Just go for it, achieve escape velocity!

Will the game include Truely Bizotic Behaviour? Or will I claim I don't know you or your dog? Because reasonable doubt still exists...

Haha, good one, Job! I do have an idea for a particular reference to a particular snowy game, but I won't give it out yet Smiley

It just wouldn't feel complete without him.
