Well, I'm not sure if I should be starting on another character before getting through the ones already being worked on, but I'll at least post this for future reference.

Not too sure if Fish has even OK'd the use of him, but whatever, I feel the need to contribute to this project now.



I'll work on some more in the near future hopefully.

I'll also leave the attacks/ general nature of him up to discussion, since I feel this character has yet to be fleshed out. I guess consider this thread a placeholder for now or something.

Very nice, but I think something is ever so slightly off with it. Maybe try to scale it down a bit, because even at that size Gomez would tower over his opponents.

Valter's correct that Gomez should only be about half that size. Either way, we shouldn't work on Gomez until Fez is finished. We don't even know how he would fight yet.

The best way to contribute graphics right now is to animate Quote, Turner or Nikujin.

Hehe, I don't think he really does - but it would be a great gimmick for Indie Brawl.

 Shocked He looks a bit like he merged with the dude from Skullpogo!

I was thinking that it would be cool to have him inverted to black in chainsaw mode, like see in some of the screenshots.
On the other hand, I don't know what the inverted Gomez in Fez represents, so I don't know if it's really a good idea...

Why do people keep making sprites for a character that isn't even guaranteed to be in the game? Especially when there are four characters that are completely finished except for their animations.

Just try to see where I'm coming from here. Indie Brawl needs graphics more than anything else. The coding is going very quickly, and the music is sufficient for a while at least, but there are still a half dozen characters in the game that still need animations. Indie Brawl needs more spriters, since we can't rely on Kovski to do everything himself.

So when people actually do submit graphics, it's disappointing to see them going where they're needed least.
