This is the grand sport of cycling!

And just like riding a bike in real life, you are racing 5000 other bikers on one incredibly long road without cars.

I present to you, Cycle SPORT:

The game is simple, keep pedaling until you take first place.

Just remember the SPORT when riding your bike.
S to activate a speed boost (the blue bar).
P and O to pedal the bike (the green bar).
R and T to steer left and right.

M toggles from music & sound effects to just sound effects to all off

Going off the road or hitting another biker will result in a crash, losing you precious time and putting you further behind.

That in mind,

Finally finished, I present cycle sport.
A simple, and rather difficult game.

(Actual size!)

Try it from the link in the first post.

Oof, I think my hand is getting tired...

This game was way too hard at the beginning (once I reached top speed), until all the rival bicyclists ended up clumping at the right side of the road, leaving me the left half to myself.  Then it became too easy.  Though tiring.

Does anything happen if you get 1st place?  I stopped at around 3200th after the bicycles started drifting left again.  5000 is a lot of bicycles to pass.

Um, sort of.. all the opponents disappear until you crash and then it starts over..
I kinda came up with this idea about 4 days before the competition ended after giving up on my first idea, and I couldn't add many features and whatnot by the time I got it working, and drawn..
And they aren't suppose to clump, I don't know why they do, I probably entered their range wrong..

Congrats on 3200th-ish, I didn't think anyone would play that long :D
Not sure why I picked 5k either..

I didn't seem to move for ages and then by the time I did my peddling fingures where aching. I could see what you were going for but at the moment it's too much of a grind. I didn't last nearly as long as Fifth before giving up. Shame as I think the concept has some potential in a qwop kinda way. Good stuff Hand Thumbs Up Left
