A cover of Sonic 1 on the master system's Bridge Zone. I really loved this tune as a kid, so I've always wanted to recreate it. I normally have very little success with music tools and music in general, but PXtone is actually really easy to get on with!

Finished another one yesterday, this time from Tyrian.

I had an existing MOD of the tune which helped with some of the more complex notes, so I'm not going to take full credit. I think it sounds pretty cool in 8-bit style, though!

It reminds me of Håkan Hellström, one of Swedens most loved (and hated, actually) artists. I remember people accused him of stealing this Sonic tune for a the song "Känn ingen sorg för mig Göteborg" ("Don't cry for me, Gothenburg", sorta).
And well, it IS very similar. He claims he has never touched a video game, though! =)
