The inspiration for Freestyle Ball Ball 2013 was based on a video (this one

) I saw years ago, involving grabbing large exercise balls and then running at people.

I'm making it physics based where you try to bounce your body in the air to hit targets to score.

Update:
I have a playable, but not quite fun, version now. I'm collaborating with a friend and need to get in an actual modeled character (with better weighting) and environment, as well as sounds. I'm also looking to make the arena more fun and tweak the physics and things players can do (like air rotation).

Finished. Well I'd like to add some music to it that my partner is finishing up, but we'll see if we can get it in before the deadline. There are also a few minor tweaks I want to add to make the arena a bit more fun.

Haha! This is stupidly cool!

I played it without reading your instructions, and I laughed when I first flew into the air!

The game is still very wonky, but it's already fun to play, a multiplayer game like this would be awesome ^^ (for exemple : with 3 players, and only to balls, and you can bump into the ones with a ball to make them drop it...)

I found a pretty annoying (and funny) bug : when you press R in mid-air, the character becomes able to do silly stuff like flying or passing through walls. I think this R command is useless, you should automatically stand up when you hit the ground.

I flew through the wall and end up outside the level. As Pierrec says this has potential as a multiplayer party game. Good stuff
