We're a small start-up independent game studio in San Francisco, California. You can check out our recent project, Black Snow, here :

Watch the trailer below,

Our current project will have a similar tone but with more complexity and depth in both gameplay and aesthetics. The project will be a commercial one utilizing a deferred version of the Source Engine and the game is what we would describe in short as "Portal meets Amnesia", a firstperson horror/adventure with sci-fi elements and heavy on puzzles and narrative.

This is a paid position and we're currently looking for a Lead Programmer to help us out, the prerequisites of which are listed below.

  • Proficiency in C++ a must, JS and HTML are also welcome
  • Experience in dealing with any 3D game engines a plus
  • Basic or intermediate understanding of HLSL a plus
  • Experience dealing with deferred rendering pipeline a BIG plus
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of game design
  • Ability to dedicate time to the project
  • Please attach a portfolio if you have one

While we are currently unable to post more detail about the game in public, we'll be more than happy to discuss it with you in private including your rates.

However we don't expect you to go on a leap of faith so here are some very WIP screenshots of what we've managed to accomplish using the modified Source engine.

Our team is only 7 people and we've been working with each other for years, we're laid back and this is more of a flat structure environment. The game has been in pre-production since GDC 2012 and we can assure you that we have laid significant groundwork for the project.

CONTACT US BELOW if you think this might be the right job for you!
