It's good cause it's cave story and all, but, to me he's not that great of a piano player, he keeps missing notes, and his rhythm isn't too good. Perhaps

The arrangement itself is good, yes, but it's just that the way he plays gets in the way for me, so I can't enjoy it as much as I otherwise would. He's a better composer than he is pianist.

I had similar problems to Paul - I couldn't listen to it because the execution was so flawed. I had to turn it off. I wouldn't mind hearing a version played well, though. Then again that Lang Lang fellow's attitude got in the way of his performance for me Smiley

I've seen that one. It's amazing but I feel really sorry for the kid in a way. Her training must have been pretty brutal.

Possible, but probably no more brutal than the training most people get in normal public schools to obey authority and so on.

I actually didn't think he was that good. The arrangements just didn't sound that good to me and the songs didn't transition that smoothly.  Sad

Most of the them were separate songs back to back, so the transitions weren't necessarily going to be smooth.

I agree that he's not the most skilled player around, but the fact he went out and did this I think is a great thing. Can't we put the inner Simon Cowell in us aside for a second to say "Hey, someone is trying to promote Pixel's music and also tribute Cave Story in their own way. That's great!" And if you really think he was that bad, then upload your own video showing how it should be done.
