I don't get what's stopping you from just walking over there the first time without shuffling everything around?
I assume maybe it's platformer view? And therefore you can't jump there to get the rest of the green dot things...?

I like the idea very much, as well as the presentation, but... Isn't this kinda like that platformer released a while ago, called Swap or something, which was basically a moving tile puzzle in which each tile was a screen of a platformer?... Of course, this is much more polished and looks more fun.

I'm pretty sure it was this. http://continuitygame.com/playcontinuity.htmlIn any case, using the same concept, but adding more complex game elements and mechanics could potentially make things more interesting.

Is it a metroidvania where the entire map is a puzzle that you move the pieces on in order to get your character into a room where you collect treasure?

So... will there be a water-redirecting aspect to the room-tile swapping? That'd be a really interesting addition, however from the looks of it the water is currently static.

So I gather that it's like that part from the Demon's Guest House in C:DoS? Sounds good.

Well it could still work. I mean, just using an if statement for the rooms. If the room is connected to such-and-such room, then water looks like this instead. I don't know if that's the best way to go about it though.
